HONEY & MUMFORD

Honey and Mumford's Learning Styles model is more frequently encountered in post-16 training but is nevertheless useful when dealing with KS3 & KS4 pupils.  This workshop investigates the popular theory and explores its implications for the teacher and trainer in respect of course design and lesson planning.

  • Honey & Mumford's Learning Styles theory.

  • Traits and characteristics of each style.

  • The "squiggle game" - have fun whilst developing in-depth understanding.

  • Identifying students' styles - using Learning Styles questionnaires.
