Compare the properties of fresh eggs with boiled eggs.

Be careful when boiling the eggs.

After boiling, run cold water on the eggs until they are cool enough to handle.

Some of the tests may need to be carried out on one specific egg (e.g.: weight before and after boiling) whereas this may not be possible with other tests (e.g.: "testing to destruction" - which can only be carried out once on an egg).
