France is a country.  Its capital is called Paris.  To get there (from England) you cross the English Channel.  You go by aeroplane, ferry or Eurostar train.

France has a population of about 57,000,000.  Their language is French.  Their money is Euros.  The main religion is Roman Catholic.

A famous bike race from France is called the Tour de France.  A famous landmark is the Eiffel Tower.

French people eat croissants, Brie cheese, snails and frogs' legs.  They also usually drink wine with their meals.
