| TAKE A BREAK | |||||
|
This is not so much a problem as a piece of advice sneaked in where you least expected it. When you get stuck with a puzzle or a problem, the best way to move forward is to take a break. Get up, move around, stretch ... breathe deeply to get some air into your lungs and some oxygen into your system; it will help your brain think more clearly. Taking a break also prevents your brain getting "stuck in a groove". When you come back to a problem after a short break, you can often approach it in a different way - and maybe solve it that bit easier.
Now that you're having a bit of a break, how about a physical challenge?
Try marching on the spot - touching each lifted knee in turn with the opposite hand - while your free hand touches the opposite shoulder. (Mouse-over the green guy for a demo.)
