Amy's mother had agreed that Amy could invite a few friends round for a pizza party. "No more than half a dozen," Amy's mother had insisted. Knowing that some of her friends complained about anything, Amy asked her mother to cut the giant-size pizza into pieces. "I'm not sure who's coming, but ten pieces should be easy enough to divide out fairly," she suggested. "In which case, I'll cut it into twelve," said her mother, "That will make it easier still."
