Mr Adams told the class to write down the numbers 1 to 10 in order. Tommy wrote:
8 - 5 - 4 - 9 - 1 - 7 - 6 - 10 - 3 - 2
When Mr Adams saw it, instead of telling Tommy off, he smiled. "You can go to lunch 5 minutes early," he said to Tommy, "and so can anyone else who can tell me why I'm not annoyed."
Can you work it out?
