How to make a flying spinner

Cut a strip of paper 15 cm in length and 1 cm wide.

About 1 cm from each end, cut a slot halfway across the strip - with the slots on different sides of the strip.

Bring the ends of the strip together and link the slots.

This fish-shaped loop will spin to the ground when released from a height.

HINT: The spinner works best with the "fish" laying on its side.

HINT: To launch the spinner, you can rest it on the palm of one hand and flick it with the other index finger - OR you can spin it gently by the "nose".
