The Internet can be a rich source of information about almost everything, but it can also be confusing - especially for young children. Students trying to research a topic can often find themselves bombarded with vast amounts of information, much of which is pitched above their heads. This can be de-motivating to even the keenest of students. Whereas it is important that we teach students how to search the worldwide web efficiently - and how to judge the veracity of what they find - there are times when we simply want them to access appropriate and reliable information speedily.
Each of the icons below links to a single start-page for (KS1&2) students who wish to research a specific period in history. Each start-page contains a limited number of recommended links - thus providing maximum information for minimum clicks.
