|
EQUIPMENT
Chalkboard or whiteboard or flipchart. Paper & pencil for each student.
|
DESCRIPTION
Many people claim that they “cannot draw for toffees”. This activity is aimed at helping students recognise the basic form of common everyday objects.
The teacher writes a list of objects on the board (3 or 4 should be sufficient). (See suggestions below.)
The challenge to the students is to draw each of the objects on the list (in any order) - using only 10 straight lines (or less) for each. The lines may be any length and they may cross over.
The teacher may impose a time-limit (of 4 or 5 minutes) or make the activity competitive.
